Why V-Pan Exists

Azmile actually grew out of a kitchen-storage frustration. In a small home or a rental, the kitchen is only so big: pots get stacked and nested, you wedge them into a cabinet after washing, and the one you need is always at the bottom.

V-Pan is the most direct answer to that frustration: clip the safety lock and the pan stands upright with its lid—wash it, stand it next to the sink, done. That's the V in the name: Vertical. However small your kitchen, you get a clear stretch of counter back.

One minute with V-Pan

A fry pan that stands up for itself

The Core Idea

Wash it, stand it, walk away

Clip the safety lock and the pan stands upright with its lid—right beside the sink, on the counter, anywhere. No more wrestling a wet pan into a crowded cabinet, no more pulling three pots out to reach the one at the bottom. The pan you use every day stays one hand-reach away.

Detachable Handle

Click to lock, press to release

The patented dual-direction handle comes off in one press. Without it, the pan slides straight into the oven, fits in the dishwasher, and stores flat. With it, the lock holds firm through stir-fries and pan tosses—it releases only when you press the button.

Cleanup

Nothing for grease to hide behind

Take the handle off and there's no joint, no rivet, no crevice—just one smooth body to rinse. The diamond ceramic coating is PFOA/PFOS-free, releases food with a wipe on medium-low heat, and is dishwasher-safe for lazy days.

Everyday Cooking

Deep enough to be your only pan

At 26 cm wide and 7.3 cm deep, the 3-liter body handles frying, boiling, sautéing, deep-frying and braising—dinner for two to four people out of a single pan. Fewer pans dirtied, fewer pans stored.

Bought it for the ceramic, no PFAS

That was the whole reason — I wanted off Teflon. Fair warning: it's not as slippery as Teflon, so you do need a little oil, it's not truly zero-fat nonstick. But it cleans up easily and I feel better about the coating. Reasonable trade.

It really does stand up

I was skeptical about the standing thing but it's become my favorite part. I wash it and just stand it next to the sink to drip — and I genuinely tucked it into the corner of a cabinet where nothing else fits. Takes up almost no space.

Heavier than I expected

Solid pan, no question, and the detachable handle is handy. Just know going in that it's heavier than it looks in photos — my partner finds it a bit much to maneuver one-handed when full. Quality feels worth it otherwise.

Handle off, straight to the table

Didn't expect to use this feature but I do constantly — pop the handle off and the pan goes right onto the table as a serving dish. One less bowl to wash. Looks nice enough to serve from too.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the 'V' in V-Pan stand for?

V = Vertical. Lock the safety clip and the pan stands upright with its lid—no rack needed. Wash it, stand it, done.

How does the handle attach? Will the lid fall when the pan stands up?

Press the handle onto the pan rim until you hear a click—locked. Press the button to release. The silicone lid is secured by the safety clip when the pan is vertical, so it won't slide off.

Does it work on induction and gas?

Yes—gas, IH induction, electric, and infrared ceramic cooktops all work. Remove the handle and it goes into the oven too (up to 250°C / 482°F).

Is the ceramic coating safe? Will metal utensils scratch it?

The coating is PFOA/PFOS-free. We recommend wooden or silicone utensils to protect the coating.
